We’re inspired by the lifestyle brand Benshen. The openness with which founder Desirée Pais shares her offerings (skincare, spirituality, stories) is beguiling and challenging at the same time. To enter the world of Benshen is to be confronted with one’s complicity in one’s own limitations and, fortunately, provided with the tools necessary to invoke change.
The multi-hyphenate Pais dexterously balances art (she’s a writer), science (she’s also a student of Oriental Medicine) and the humanities (Kundalini Yoga) in her work. In doing so, she is unraveling the limits of what a business can be.
